Powder Play

For Spring/Summer 2020, we drew inspiration from the dreamlike, postmodern architecture of La Muralla Roja. Our elegant colour palette and sophisticated yet whimsical silhouettes balance a polished charm with a vibrant, quirky side. We emphasized the playful nature of mixed mediums and used contrasting materials and layers of texture throughout the assortment. Warm natural tones are highlighted by pops of dramatic blues, while terrazzo, concrete, and terracotta bring a spirited charm to the upbeat collection. This collection established the launch of art imitating life, with our showroom becoming our in-person experience - truly paving the way to establish Nuevo as a design-forward leader in the industry. It was well received by customers and press, and recognized on Instagram by WGSN for trend forecasting.
